The Shannons Day of the Volkswagen is the biggest show of the year in the WA Volkswagen Calendar. Each year it is held on the first Sunday in December - for 2010 that is the 5th December.

The event is open to both members and non-members, to show their VW's or to come along and have a look. It is not restricted to VW branded vehicles, as all vehicles belonging to the VW family (Karmann, Audi, and Skoda to name a few) are welcome!

The event will be held at G O Edwards Reserve with gates opening from 9.00am and the show being from 10.00am to 3.00pm on the day. Vehicle entry is $10, while the public can come have a look for free. There will be a Show and Shine, a new vehicle display, a swap meet and a show bag for the first 100 cars through the gate. The day will include a raffle, rocker cover racing, kids activities and refreshments - a coffee van, sausage sizzle, and ice cream van.
