About Us
The Volkswagen Club of WA Inc was formed in 1955. This coincided with another milestone – it was the year that the millionth VW Beetle was produced.
Our club welcomes a variety of members from all age groups with a wide range of vehicles from all over the state. Ranging from classic air cooled vehicles to modern water cooled vehicles. Browse through our gallery to see for yourself.
Our biggest event of the year is our Day of the Volkswagen. This traditionally is held in early December with over 200 vehicles on display. We have many other events throughout the year which include camping weekends, day cruisers, a monthly burger night meet, day trips to the country side, market displays and attendance at other car shows.
The Club produces a bi-monthly online magazine for its members known as VWWA in which announcements, meetings, technical tips, general news and members advertisements can be found.
The Volkswagen Club of WA has an active committee which endeavours to provide a friendly community for people interested in owning, restoring and preserving Volkswagens to come together in a social environment.
