VW Club of WA Attending the 2026 York Motor Show
We are going on a cruise and camp to the historic town of York to attend the York Motor Show. The cruise will leave from Guildford at 12:30 on Saturday the 29th of August and cruise along Great Eastern Highway through Midland and then on up the hill to Mundaring for lunch at the Mundaring Hotel. After lunch, the cruise will continue up Great Eastern Highway, turn right onto Great Southern Highway up to York. Our destination will be our free campsite at 17 Andrews Avenue, York. Once at York, everyone will be free to do what they want to do for the rest of the afternoon. The free camp at York will only have toilets available, so campers will need to bring in everything else that they will need, and it would be great if you could bring some firewood too (this is optional). The car show starts Sunday morning the 30th at 9am and entry is free and will run from 9 am to 3 pm. As with all our events, you can choose which parts of the event you wish to participate in. If you are not into camping, just come for the cruise to Mundaring for lunch or join us for the show on Sunday. The choice is yours.

Join us in Fremantle for a twilight catch up on the banks of the Swan River. Bring the family, bring your picnic dinner and a cool drink or two, there is even a playground for the kids.
